Brian Lee

Brian's been a radio personality for over 32 years and has actually partied with some of the classic rock bands played on the show!  However, it's hard to remember most of what happened---"it was great to be young in the 70's hangin’ out backstage!! Sometimes lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time"  He still has the roach and chicken bone from AC/DC's Hells Bells Tour...probably freezer burned by now! Brian says it has been really cool to meet these musicians over the years and most of the time they are truly nice people...really down to earth.  The festival shows were his favorites and included headliners like Led Zeppelin, The Stones, Journey, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat to name a few!  “A friend of mine got tickets to see a new band and asked me to go, I said “Who the hell is BOSTON?” Ended up seeing them three times. Was also very cool when J. Geils came out on stage riding in a Harleys sidecar. Used to have lot’s of spare time! Brian has also appeared in a few films including King Pin, Angels in the Outfield and Howard the Duck.

Brian has worked in radio throughout the western states but Montana is home.  When he's not on the radio, he loves to watch NASCAR, Big Bang Theory or working on his own sports cars…always a project of some kind.  He enjoys going to a Mauler's game and hunting when he gets the time.  Brian is also a certified welder and an online Reverend..."Tell me your sins brothers and sisters!"

I was born and raised in Missoula on the tough “Southside” of town. After high school (Go Spartans!) I went to Spokane for broadcasting school. I started in Missoula radio in 1991, on XT-93 playing requests for 13 year old girls that couldn’t sleep at night, I was working overnights. After a few different stations I ended up here at Z100.

Growing up I listened to Z100 every day, and now I get to do the same thing and get paid for it!

I am a huge hockey fan and it helps that we have the Missoula Maulers here to give me my Zamboni fix. I play the tenor drum in The Celtic Dragon Pipe Band, so I that is how I get my kilt fix on. I like a good beer, and of course Classic Rock.

Missoula over the years has had some of the best shows I have ever seen, Pearl Jam at the University Center, Violent Femmes at the Wilma, Jethro Tull at Caras Park, Sammy Hagar at Caras Park, we could always use more!

Thanks for listening and making Z100 a part of Missoula!
